Q: Are e-Notices e-mailed to me?

A: No, for security reasons we do not e-mail actual notices over the internet. When you sign up for e-Notices, you will receive an e-mail message notifying you of when your notices are available for viewing through our secured online banking system.

Q: Do I need special software to view e-Notices?

A: No. Along with the software that you would usually use to access the World Wide Web, including a web browser, you will need Adobe Reader 7.0 or later (you can download this for free from www.adobe.com). You must use a computer that meets minimum hardware and software requirements however.

For a list of these requirements, please visit our e-Services Technical Support page.

Q: What type of notices would I receive through this service?

A: e-Notices may include, but are not limited to, non-sufficient funds notices, certificate maturity notices, and late payment notices.

Q: Is there a fee*?

A: No, e-Notices are free for all members.

* If you're receiving a notice via cellular phone, standard text message and/or airtime rates may apply.

Q: What if I don't read my e-Notices, etc.?

A: In both of these circumstances, the Credit Union sends a second, and sometimes a third, e-mail notification, and then follows the electronic communication up with a mailed notification. It is important, however, to:

  • Make sure you sign in and view the notices on e-Access when notified.
  • Make sure we have your updated e-mail address.
  • Add Notices@silverstatecu.com to your address book (to ensure our mail is not blocked as "spam").

Q: Can I receive e-Notices at more than one electronic address?

A: Yes. You can receive e-Notices at two addresses; one an HTML and the other a Plain Text (this is a good option if you have a dial-up connection or if you have difficulty displaying HTML e-mails).

Q: How do I stop receiving e-Notices?

A: To opt out of receiving e-Notices, please make the request to discontinue electronic notices to us in writing, or at any of our branch location.
