Firefox Browser Troubleshooting

  • We do not support the built-in AOL browser. After connection please minimize AOL and select one of the supported browsers.
  • Please have all pop-up blocker software turned off during your e-Access session or allow https://pcaccess.silverstatecu.com/


Enable Session Cookies:

  1. In Mozilla Firefox, in the Tools menu, Click Options.
  2. Click the Privacy tab.
  3. Check the Accept cookies from sites checkbox.
  4. Verify that the 'Keep until:' drop-down is set to 'they expire'.
  5. Click on the OK button to save & close the Options Window.
  6. Close ALL BROWSERS for the changes to take affect.

Clear Cache:

  1. In Mozilla Firefox, on the Tools menu, Click Options....
  2. Click the Privacy tab, then Click on Settings... .
  3. Verify the Cache, Cookies, and Authenticated Sessions (other checks ok) are checked.
  4. Click the OK button.
  5. Click the Clear Now button. If prompted, Click the Clear Private Data Now button.
  6. Click on the OK button to Close the Options Window.
  7. Close ALL BROWSER windows for the changes to take affect


Sometimes you may encounter popup windows being blocked by your browser on SSSCU's website(s). You have the option to either disable your popup blocker or you can allow popups from our website(s). You will find instructions for both options below.

Disable The Built-In Popup Blocker For Mozilla Firefox:

  1. Click on Tools, then Click Options.
  2. Click on the Content tab.
  3. Uncheck the Block pop-ups windows checkbox
  4. Click the OK button.
  5. You may have to close and reopen Firefox.
Allow SSSCU Popups In Mozilla Firefox:

  1. Click on Tools, then Click Options.
  2. Click on the Content tab.
  3. Click the Exceptions... button next to the Block pop-ups windows checkbox
  4. Type "www.silverstatecu.com" (no quotes) in the Address of web site: box.
  5. Click the Allow button.
  6. Repeat steps 4 and 5 to add "pcaccess.silverstatecu.com" (no quotes).
  7. Click the Close button.
  8. Click the OK button to close the options window and save your changes.
  9. You may have to close and reopen ALL Mozilla Firefox windows.

NOTE: The above steps for popups is for the built-in popup blocker only. If you have toolbars that include popup blockers then you will need to disable those as well.
